The box is big, the manual looks thick, and there are parts you don’t recognize. A wrong sequence — bolting panels before hooking up hoses — can trap connections behind steel brackets you cannot reach later.

Unboxing and Taking Inventory

Cut the tape and lift the components out one layer at a time. You should see the main chair body, two arm panels, the footrest, the remote or tablet controller, the power cord, a bag of bolts, and safety clips. If any piece is missing, pause and contact the manufacturer before starting assembly — the entire process takes about 20 minutes when all parts are present.

Installing the Arm Panels (The Sequence That Matters)

The arm panels are the only part of setup that can snap together wrong, and the fix means disassembling what you just bolted. Follow this exact order per panel to avoid that.

1. Orient the panel. Identify which panel is left and which is right. The packaging photos usually show the correct side; compare the panel’s curve to the armrest shape on the chair.

2. Slide onto the track. Gently push the panel down onto the chair’s metal rails. It should sit flush without force.

3. Connect the hoses and wires before locking. This is the critical step. Behind the panel, you will find air hoses labeled 1, 2, and 3.

4. Bolt the panel down. Tighten the bolts (usually two per panel, sometimes up to four) to lock the panel onto the track.

5. Repeat the same sequence for the opposite arm panel.

Attaching the Footrest

Lift the footrest assembly and slide its connectors onto the hooks at the front of the chair base. Push down until you hear or feel them seat. Insert the safety clips — these are small plastic or metal pins — into the holes at each connection point. Without those clips, the footrest can disconnect when you recline. An alternative method uses a D-clip: line up the inlet on the bottom of the clip with the rod and push down until it locks.

Setting Up the Remote or Tablet Controller

For a standard remote control, find the female connector on the edge of the seat — typically on the right side — and plug the remote’s cable into it.

For a tablet-style controller, like the one on Infinity’s Zenara model, insert the tablet holder into the base mount hole on the left armrest. Align the pins and screw it tight. Attach the controller’s cord to the connection port on the left side of the seat, aligning the keyed pins, and screw to secure it. Snap the tablet into its holder. Scan the QR code on the packaging film to access the setup tutorial, then remove the film and hold the power button to wake the screen.

Powering On for the First Time

Place the chair against a wall with at least two inches of clearance behind it for recline. Keep no people, pets, or objects within 20 inches in front of the chair — the footrest extends outward during use. Plug the power cord into the chair’s port, then into a grounded 110-volt outlet. Locate the power switch on the rear power box — not on the remote — and flip it to the on position.

Running the Initial Body Scan

The auto program when you first power up may include a body scan. The chair measures your shoulder height and back length to calibrate massage pressure. Sit still, remove your shoes, and take off jewelry or watches — loose metal can get pinched in airbags. Stay relaxed while the chair scans for 20 to 30 seconds. After it completes, select an automatic program; “Relax Mode” is a good starting option. Press the heater button to activate the warming feature. When the program ends, press the power button on the remote to return the chair to its upright position — do not stand up while it is reclined.

Common Setup Mistakes to Avoid

• Bolting panels before connecting hoses. Once the arm panel is bolted to the track, the air hose ports are blocked.
• Matching hoses to the wrong ports.
• Skipping the footrest safety clips.
• Moving during the body scan.
• Relying on the remote to power on.

Final Setup Checklist

• Both arm panels are bolted after hose and wire connection — test by pressing the shoulder airbag button on the remote.
• Footrest safety clips are fully inserted — give the footrest a firm tug to confirm.

• Rear power switch is on and the chair is plugged into a grounded outlet.
